Outreach is an important component of the Vientiane Youth Center’s service model. The outreach team travels to schools, factories and local communities to provide information and develop a network of local peer educators and peer volunteers.

National and international events provide an opportunity to showcase the work of Vientiane Youth Center and to reach large numbers of people. The outreach team participates in events such as International Women's Day, International Children's Day, the Boat Festival, World AIDS Day and Pha That Luang festival.
